Woody Woodward
Woody is an artist who has always been keen to revive ancient crafts. He trained as a carpenter and woodworker in Melbourne, where he was born and raised, before coming to New Zealand more than 30 years ago. After his Sunday Creek sojourn, Woody spent nearly 20 years in the Baton Valley, farming and making musical instruments – many of the musical instruments were made of bone. He has spent the last 13 years at Marahau, near the southern entrance to the Abel Tasman National Park
