Mia Tennant

With the dramatic beaches native bush and extremes in weather, Mia Tennant lives in a lifestyle environment which responds to her passions.  Colour, form and natural beauty are an integral  part of Mia's life, together with children, animals and organic gardening.

Surrounded by artists from a young age, Mia was raised in a creative and stimulating environment.   Mia has been spinning, dying and knitting for over 30 years.  Recently she began stone carving.  Her father, a carver of manyyears, has taught and inspired her.  His ability to bring out the natural beauty of the stone is Mia's inspiration and continuing philosophy.

We have displayed an example of each of the designs that Mia creates.   She selects stones of character with each piece having it's own colour and texture.
